Recently I was asked to provide a comment on a couple of articles from Allied Telesis regarding their network view of smart buildings.

For many years it has been the network at the cornerstone of enabling smart buildings, this will continue to the the case as it enables easier integrations. The network can be wired or wireless to enable the integrations with. cause and effect being able to be acted on. With all the data being available across the network we can finally realise the true benefits of an intelligent dashboard making it evident of how the building is performing and acting on the information making changes to the building setup.
